Cassidy E. Griffin is the Executive Vice President of Griffin Venture Group, LLC, where she oversees the development of innovative education, workforce and organizational readiness initiatives. A distinguished education and strategy executive, Ms. Griffin is recognized for her expertise in managing complex scholastic program portfolios, designing scalable learning models and advancing data-informed decision-making across diverse institutions. She is routinely engaged to support cross-sector partnerships, strategic planning efforts and the integration of emerging technologies into human capital development. Ms. Griffin brings a unique perspective to economic development and venture management, shaped by extensive experience in education systems, international program leadership and organizational operations in both established and resource-constrained environments.
A multifaceted professional educator across the U.S. and abroad, Ms. Griffin recently served as Associate Director of School Programs and Partnerships Lead at Academic Approach, where she managed program portfolios and led districtwide partnership implementation. Under her leadership, the organization achieved a 114% increase in product utilization, reinforcing her ability to deliver measurable outcomes and strengthen high-stakes client relationships. From 2019 to 2021, Ms. Griffin served as Director of Education for KKPW Childcare—a portfolio company of GVG—developing early childhood and adolescent programs for learners ages 0–12. She managed program and staff development during a period of rapid organizational growth and deepened the business's community engagement—experiences that continue to inform her evaluation of education ventures and operational models. Ms. Griffin began her career as a Teach For America/AmeriCorps Corps Member, teaching 5th–12th grade science in under-resourced schools using research-based, culturally responsive instructional practices. Her work in high-need environments strengthened her commitment to educational equity and provided foundational insight into the structural challenges affecting student performance and opportunity. As the Founding Head Teacher of Spark Academy at the Practical English Application Institute in South Korea, she managed and coached a cohort of teacher-leaders, facilitated the opening of a new grade level and contributed to a 25% reduction in student turnover. Prior to her career in education, Ms. Griffin worked in the marketing sector.
Ms. Griffin has completed graduate coursework in Education Management and Learning Design from Harvard University Extension School, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology and Sociolinguistics from Dartmouth College, with a minor in International Studies. A multilingual professional, she has proficiency in French and Portuguese and advanced proficiency in Korean (TOPIK 3). She remains an active advocate for educational equity, diverse talent development, and cross-cultural leadership within the education and technology sectors.
